Why Webcam?

Many people ask me that. Why do I find going to these webcam sites so exciting? I can’t touch the girls or get fucked by them, so what’s the point of watching? Isn’t it just like a porno movie? Sometimes, it’s nearly impossible to explain to these people the thrill of visiting a webcam site. If you’ve ever had this problem, here are some of my thoughts on why Secretfriends or I’mLive is worth so much more than another installment of Debbie Does Dallas.

First, there’s the live aspect of it. A chick on CamBang or CamChatter is interacting with and responding to what I say. She’s not a recording or following any sort of script. If I ask her to take off her top, she has the option of saying no (in free chat) or taking it off and showing me her goods (especially if I’m paying for it!). But there’s also the fact that you never know what she’s going to do. If she’s on Secretfriends or CumTV, she might even get naked in free chat!

Free chat itself is actually one of the reasons I do webcams. I know some guys don’t find it exciting, but I like talking to the girls a little before getting to the sex. It’s nice to get to know these girls. To me, spending a few minutes in free chat with a LiveJasmin girl and getting an idea of her personality makes the private chat much better. The interaction with the girl is what’s important and what makes webcam sites worth so much more than normal porn sites.

The price is also a major factor. While normal porn sites are going to charge me a set fee every month (anything from $14.95 to over $30!), with webcams, I control how much I spend (unless I join a monthly-fee site like CamChatUSA or SeventeenLive). If I’m a little low on cash, I can go to CamContacts or ExtasyCams and spend less than a dollar a minute. If I have more money to blow, LiveCamNetwork, HotAsianCamGirls, or JuicyNetwork are options (all with private chats of $4.00 or more). Webcam sites let me control my porn spending better.

The fact is, I just like webcams. The whole community feel – talking with the girl and the other guys – the interaction, the fact that it’s live, and the nice price all combine to make webcams much better than porn. Those are my thoughts, anyway. What do you think?

I love to webcam just because I think the girls are hotter on cam sites. On other porn sites they can touch up the photos or whatever, but here the girls have to be hot. There’s no air brushing on cam.

Yeah, I like the interaction, too. Pornos are ok, but after you watch them once, you know what’s going to happen and it’s not quite as exciting the second time around. With a cam show, you never know what she’s going to do. That’s worth paying a little more in my opinion.
