Webcams Verses Other Porn

Some people wonder what, exactly, the thrill of webcamming is. You can’t touch the girl or have her touch you, they argue, so why is it any different than watching a porno or downloading videos from porn sites? Well, in my opinion, a webcam girl on Secretfriends or CamContacts has much more going for her than any of these other porn stars who have their own webpages.

First, there are the ever-popular naked pictures (and the like – some are obviously more than just girls naked). I’ve never really seen the point of these. Why look at a static image that doesn’t move or change? Besides, if you really want photos, you can often find webcam girls who also have photo galleries, like Lori on SweetCamGirl or Cassandra on PrincessBlueyez.

Video can be similar to a webcam experience, yes, but it’s not as personal. While some porn videos are done to make it look and feel like you’re in the action, you still don’t have any control. However, when you’ve got a babe from LiveJasmin or PassionCams right there on your screen, you can tell her what to do or ask her to zoom in her cam to give you a better view. It’s like an interactive video to some extent, which makes it so much better. After all, who doesn’t want to direct porn?

Price is one issue where video might actually win. I mean, for $30, you can often get a two hour porn video or ten minutes with a webcam girl. That’s one thing I will give other types of porn – they’re cheaper, for the most part. There are some good deals out there, though. You can get a month’s worth of access (and all the private chats you want) to CamBang for $30, for example, or you can score almost an hour of private chat on ExtasyCams.

Obviously, I’m a webcam fan myself. I just don’t understand paying to look at pictures, and while video is a bit better, it’s just not the same. I can’t count how many times I would like to change the angle or ask the girl to do something different. With webcam girls, I can do that, and that’s worth paying for! What does everyone else think? Any reason traditional porn beats out webcams?

That chick doesn’t look so hot to me. I wouldn’t pay for her. Some videos are pretty good. Sometimes I like to just sit back and watch and not have to tell the girls what to do. I like to keep my hands free for other things!

I agree, pictures don’t really do it for me at all. I don’t mind video every now and then, but some of it is so bad…give me a live girl to direct any day.
